Saturday Update (10/23) - Updates, updates, updates!


Hello everyone - it's been a while! 

I'd like to apologize for being quiet on here for a bit. School has been a lot of work... 

Also, I was getting a lot of pressure to update this devlog every week - so I've decided to scale it back to make it an end-of-month thing. I think it would be healthier for me in the long run.

But anyways - please know that I have been working on Bad Faith this month! 

Here's what's new:

  • I've corrected nearly all of Act 2's dialogue bubbles.
  • I fixed a CG that was causing major lagging/loading issues in the game.
  • I added some new effects that would make certain scenes have more impact.
  • I fixed some text errors I found in Act 1 and Act 2. 
  • I implemented a persistent data switch that would unlock something once a playthrough of Bad Faith was complete.
  • I added some new backgrounds for Act 2.

Ideally, for next month I hope to, amongst other things:

  •  Finish Act 2's dialogue bubbles.
  • Rework a certain character sprite because of resolution issues.
  • Add more small CGs throughout Act 2. Maybe Act 3 as well.
  • Correct and polish the text of Act 3.
  • Fix issues with looping ambient sound in the game. I tried attempting this during this month, but I kept on running into issues...

I hope this is okay with everyone! 

I really do want to finish and release the full version of Bad Faith - so please, bear with me a little longer!
