Sunday Update (11/28) - Back at it again!


Hello, hello, hello! 

Just wanted to post my monthly devlog, as promised! 

As you all know (from an earlier devlog I made this week, or the last... I can't remember) Bad Faith's just gone into beta-testing, and me and my team of beta-testers are hard at work making the final game as good as it can be. 

That aside though, I can give general updates on what's new in the game. Here's what's new:

  • Fixed some display glitches with a certain character's sprite.
  • Added a new unlockable menu to the game after the story is completed. If you've played a lot of visual novels, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what this is - but I'm very glad it's out of the way now. It took me a while to figure out and make it work as intended.
  • Polished the writing of Act 3. It's basically all set now, apart from a few mistakes my beta testers have been finding. I'll fix those for the final release.
  • That certain character's sprite I've mentioned back in October's update is now remade, with a better resolution and better expressions. I love how they came out a lot.
  • Added a couple of extra images to Act 2.
  • Fixed a glitch with sound effects that played in a row, and added captions to all of them (plus the game's soundtrack). The game's ambient sound also works properly now!
  • All of the speech bubbles in all of the acts are done.

Of course, there's gonna be more stuff added based on the responses of my beta testers! Please look forward to those when the game gets released.
